Hi Firebase,

I have a problem with firebase hosting.

I hosted a site relive.cricket in firebase hosting. It works fine as expected
Problem is that www.relive.cricket. it says

This site can’t be reached
Check if there is a typo in www.relive.cricket.

I am using google domains & below is DNS settings and firebase hosting setup. Please guide me or advise?

In Google domains enter just "www" (the "relive.cricket" is implied) and I think you'll have more success. :)

Thank you.

// Just for posterity

Since you want www to behave exactly the same as the apex, you should think of this as an alias rather than a separate domain and use a CNAME record. Read: difference between A and CNAME records.

But what you have here will work fine of course. It simply means that if you change the records in the future, you have to remember to update them in multiple places and aren't adhering to the DRY principle.

☼, Kato
