I've successful migrate a hosting project from old dashboard to new console

when I try to upload some modified files and new files, my old files are wiped, replaced by that modified and new files

I use 'firebase deploy' command with some ignored path, I thought this command will keep the old files, add new files and replace old file with modified files, but seems its not working

my question is:

1. How to do selective file upload, without wipe all old hosted file, only replacing modifed files and adding new files.
2. How to do, hosting rollback, I want to revert to previous version of my hosting

Thanks

Hello!

You can rollback changes in the hosting section of your console. I'm not positive if it records the deploy history from before your migration, but I'm optimistic that it will, since I don't think this process changed much.

You can't, unfortunately, do a partial deploy or selective deploy--it's all or nothing.

P.S. If it's not offensive to your culture or beliefs, I'd encourage you to introduce yourself! We are a close-knit family. It's easier to keep that culture strong when we remember that there are real people on the other end of our emails. Getting to know one another by name is a great first step.

Hi Kato,

Thanks for your reply, sorry if I not introducing my self before, I'm Bandar from Indonesia

On rollback,
I can see those deployment/revision history list and finally found the rollback/delete menu button, the menu is kinda hidden in very small three dots (I'm using firefox browser), I think it would be better if the menu is more visible using a button or icon.

On selective/partial deployment,
I wish firebase will have this feature in future, from my exprience with Parse, this feature is very helpful especially when I have a small coding/html mistake.

Thanks
Bandar

Thanks for the feedback, Bandar! So great to meet you.

Both of these sound like valid points. I'll pass them on to the correct people internally.

Have a great day,
Kato
