Running Espresso tests on Firebase Test Lab from Android Studio fails with "Invalid APK"

Hi,
I'm trying to run Espresso test cases on Firebase test lab from Android Studio v3.0.1 but it fails with error - The provided APK is invalid . Running robo tests from web console is working fine. This is the first time I'm trying to run Instrumented tests from Android Studio.

Below is the full log:
