Anyone has already upgraded their functions to cloud run for better cold start times? If so, can you please answer the below questions?
1. How easy it is to change from functions to Cloud Run?
2. What are the cost changes?
3. Do you see any performance gain w.r.t cold starts?
4. Does cloud run has DDoS protection by default? If not how to handle this?

Thanks,
Ayyappa

Close but, although cloud functions has individual computers spin up, cloud run suited to running full containerized apps. Functions is more for automating a particular task based on some kinda trigger.

You can upgrade your functions runtimes to see some better cold start times. Also, make sure your code chunks are kinda small.
