I was developing something with recaptcha earlier today, and at one point it decided I was spamming it and would no longer respond to requests.

Now I can't even use recaptcha as a user. I tried signing up for the Firebase slack channel. The recatcha was extremely slow and makes me to many many recaptchas. Eventually I got through and it said it sent me the invite email but then I never got it. I tried it again a couple times but no email received, no junk folder.

How should I make this work so that I can a) prototype something that uses recaptcha authentication without flagging the fraud sensors b) actually get an email invite to the slack group.

Thanks,

Brendan

Hi Brendan,

Sent you a manual invite to the Slack channel. Have a look and see if it arrived.

I assume you don't actually want to test recaptcha, but rather your responses to the service. I don't see any obvious testing tools provided by the service, so the best way to do so may be to mock it.  It looks like a simple alternative might be to modify the headers with a plugin.

I hope that helps!
