Hi!

I was looking at solutions like AppsFlyer and Adjust, to do some mobile attribution and mobile analytics (see how marketing campaigns perform, which are bringing quality users).
Firebase seems to have lots of features, does it include things like this or not at all?

Thanks!

I have been trying to get an answer to this question. In their announcement yesterday they claim that they now offer cross-network attribution (see quote below). What they don't say is what networks they are referring to and the granularity of their new attribution service/reports. Is Firebase now competing with Appsflyer, Adjust, Kochava and the likes or are they referring to the multiple networks within adwords when they talk about cross-network attribution? App developers need to know this before signing up with these other third party vendors.

Firebase Analytics is user and event-centric and gives you insight into what your users are doing in your app. You can also see how your paid advertising campaigns are performing with cross-network attribution, which tells you where your users are coming from. You can see all of this from a single dashboard.

Firebase Analytics is also integrated with other Firebase offerings to provide a single source of truth for in-app activity and through a feature called Audiences. Audiences let you define groups of users with common attributes. Once defined, these groups can be accessed from other Firebase features -- to illustrate, we’ll reference Audiences throughout this post.

Hi,

I've also been looking for answers to this question. Hope someone has figured it out by now.

The firebase console gives me the option to choose from some networks like Aarki, Adcolony, InMobi etc. Is there some way to get cross-network attribution data from sources other than the ones that firebase shows right now?

If you have a network that's not supported, we'd ask that they fill out this form to start an integration

Alternatively, if you know the Macro that the network uses for IDFA/Ad-ID, then you can construct a URL by using the following and subbing in relevant parameters:

https://app-measurement.com/redirect?gmpaid=[APP ID FOUND IN FIREBASE SETTINGS]&cn=[CAMPAIGN_NAME]&adid=[AD-ID MACRO]&cs=[NETWORK NAME]&url=[ENCODED APP STORE URL]&cm=[CAMPAIGN MEDIUM]

After reviewing, it turns out we cannot support a manually constructed URL at this point in time. This is something we'll work on supporting

Hi Fontaine. We would like to construct URLs manually for networks that are not supported by Firebase Analytics at this moment. Do you know if this is a feature that we can make use of in the near future?
