Recently, I created multiple accounts on my application, utilizing both the Google firebase authentication and username/password options. Subsequently, I added two-factor authentication to all of these accounts using the same mobile number for verification purposes.
However, I seem to have encountered a problem with one of my accounts. After attempting to log in with an invalid password multiple times, I found myself unable to access that particular account. Strangely, this issue seems to have affected not only the account I was attempting to log in to but also the other accounts associated with the same mobile number.
Furthermore, when attempting to create a new account, I encountered difficulty in adding the same phone number for verification. This suggests there might be an underlying issue with the verification process linked to my mobile number.
Given these circumstances, I am reaching out to get any clarification on the following:
- Could you please provide insight into why I am unable to log in to my accounts after multiple failed login attempts, despite using the correct credentials initially?
- Is there a restriction on using the same mobile number for two-factor authentication across multiple accounts? If so, what are the limitations and possible solutions to resolve this issue?
- Additionally, could you provide guidance on how I can regain access to my accounts and ensure smooth functionality moving forward?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
