Hey there,

I'm in the process of adding Email Link Authentication to my app and have enabled one account per email address.

This appears to be working as expected with new users, but some legacy user accounts (who were created prior to early 2017) don't get linked. Instead, a new UID is created and two user records with the same email remain.

Any idea how to address this?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Do you see the same behavior if you try the reverse? I.e. work from the newly created UID and try to link it to the old/pre-2017 account? What provider are the old accounts using?
