Not able to sign in with email and password using firebase

I am trying to create login authentication with email and password but when I click on create account button it gives error 

W/DynamiteModule: Local module descriptor class for com.google.firebase.auth not found.

and after that it gives error authentication failed  I have followed all the steps described on firebase official site 

I have installed google playservices 9.4 and firebase auth 9.4 also but still getting error please help fast 

these are my dependencies

Can you create a minimal repro please? Also, if you have a stack trace or more specific details about the error, those will be helpful.
