Hi!

I got this e-mail about Google Analytics Terms of Service, but when I log in to Firebase and follow the instructions in Accept the new Terms of Service by following the instructions in the Google Analytics Help Center, there is no actions for us to take.

Can someone help me verify that it all looks ok in our account?

Hi Kaisa,

This is a reminder that you are the owner of one or more Firebase projects listed below that use Google Analytics, and you still have not accepted the Google Analytics Terms of Service:

If you don’t accept the updated terms by February 15, 2022, you will lose access to Google Analytics and we will delete the corresponding data. This will affect Google Analytics for Firebase Integrations including:

How do I accept the updated Terms of Service?

Accept the new Terms of Service by following the instructions in the Google Analytics Help Center.

Please take time to review the Google Analytics Terms of Service Language Index.

No action is required on your part if you no longer wish to use Google Analytics or your associated data.

If you have trouble accepting the updated terms of service, please contact support.

Thank you for choosing Google Analytics.

Hi Kaisa, is it possible that someone else has already performed the upgrade for your project?
If you navigate to the Google Analytics "Dashboard" in your project, do you see a banner on the top asking you to upgrade? Do you see a button that says "Open in Google Analytics" on that page? If you see "Open in Google Analytics", your project is already upgraded. If you see the banner, it requires an upgrade.

You will need an Owner of the project to do the upgrade - Owners can be seen in the Settings (gear icon) -> Users & Permissions table.

Hi!

Perhaps someone else has upgraded the projects beacuse i cant se that banner in any of the projects that we have.

Is there any way that you can confirm by looking in our system det everything is upgraded?

Hello Kaisa,

If you navigate to the Google Analytics dashboard, you should see an "Open in Google Analytics" option. If so, then you are all set.

Hi Kaisa, you should be able to look at the Analytics integration settings by opening Settings (gear icon in navigation, "Project settings"), opening the "Integrations" tab, and opening the "Google Analytics" integration card.
If your project is upgraded, it should show "Property", "Property ID", and "Linked Google Analytics account" fields. The "Linked Google Analytics account" may be hyperlinked.

If you do not see the "Linked Google Analytics account" field on that page, it is likely not upgraded. In that case, you should also see a banner below that asking you to upgrade or ask a project admin to upgrade for you.

If you are still unsure, please reach out to our support team for assistance!
