Firebase Database

I would like to know if firebase database can be used to just add users without using google sign up options. I am not collecting user email and password in my application. But signing up with mobile number and other credentials. I like to know if I can just add users with my collection of data and use push notification for specific users from firebase database.

Yes, you don't need to use Firebase authentication, you can implement your own with firebase as a regular NoSQL database.

Firebase Auth and Realtime Database are separate products/systems that work well together. But you seem to be asking if users can be added without Google sign up. Sure, there are plenty of other providers: Email/password, Facebook, Twitter, Github, Phone number (SMS) and more. Start here: https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth
