I’m a beginner developer from Africa, exploring Firebase for my project. Learning to upload images has been a frustrating experience due to the requirement to upgrade to the Blaze plan, even for free-tier usage.

Credit cards are not commonly used in many parts of Africa—they're often seen as a luxury for wealthy individuals. This makes accessing essential Firebase features, even for learning and practicing, a significant barrier for developers like me.

As a passionate learner striving to improve my skills and create impactful projects, I kindly urge Firebase to consider alternative billing models or easier access for beginners in regions with limited credit card usage.

That being said, what is your use case?

I ask this because, the free-tier usage is enough to get you started on whatever learning you're doing.

You can leverage other services with firebase to create custom solutions. As an aspiring developer, you should know; nothing is set in stone.

The documentation is just as soft guides, you can fairly easily mix firebase with other services.
