Can firebase host a functional discord bot that actively runs? If not what kind of dedicated service (not raspberry pi) can I use to run it?

If Discord bots are powered by webhooks (a quick glance seems to imply they are), you should be able to use HTTPS triggered Cloud Functions to implement this.

Thanks for the reply!

My understanding is it can be run in any number of languages as long as it can interface properly with their API. It seems to need an active server to run from the looks of it as it is a running script using node.js or just whatever other language you write in's libraries.
