Hello everyone!

Been trying to find a solution for this the whole day and it lead me to this thread: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/firebase-talk/XsMDKFy82yE/C3G52dVABgAJ

I tried to follow the URL structure, but keep getting a null output. Not sure if Firebase still supports this method? I hope someone can help point me to the right direction on how to use the REST api to pull data from the analytics. I plan to use the data to a 3rd party dashboard so it would be easier for us to monitor everything in one place

Thanks in advance

Hi James,

Analytics can be exported to BigQuery but not accessed via REST. Not sure what you're asking about in "if Firebase still supports this method". We don't support any CSV formatting, but still have a REST API that outputs JSON.

Hi Kato

Thank you very much for the reply!

Okay so just wanted to clarify, the method mentioned on this link: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/firebase-talk/XsMDKFy82yE/C3G52dVABgAJ is not available anymore. The ony way I can access the analytics data is through Big Query?

Thanks

If you're referring to Jacob's post, he mentioned the same thing I just did. Utilizing the REST API or automated backups, which produce JSON, and then converting it.

It looks like someone else suggested a third party tool for the conversion portion. The Firebase team can't, naturally, vet all third party tools for safety and quality. You'll have to evaluate that on your own.

Yup that's what I'm referring to! Thanks for clearing that up!

Okay my next hurdle is, I noticed that to fetch the data it uses the "curl" command. I tried using GET but there is no data to be found (null). I'm trying to use an online dashboard and want to pull some analytics data to it so we can centralize all our information. It seems that the dashboard only uses the GET or POST method.

Apologies in advance also if I'm not using the correct terminology as I'm not a developer by profession

Thanks again
