How does one install Firebase Hosting from a Chromebook?

Specifically, my current website is hosted on Google Drive. Google is terminating that service at the end of the month, and they recommend migrated to Firebase.

I use a Chromebook as my end device, and it is not clear that I can install Firebase on a Chromebook.

Any help is appreciated ...

Thanks.

Hey L. Curtis,

Great question. If you're doing development from a Chromebook, I'd imagine that any online IDE environment you're using probably has shell access, and you could install and run your deploys from there.

If you don't have an online IDE environment yet, then you may want to invest in a tool like nitrious.io

If you're already using Cloud, you could use google cloud shell and manage/deploy your files from there.
