Phone verification by admin sdk

Can anyone share if it is possible to do phone verification using admin sdk. I want to send sms through firebase using nodejs with my generated verification code in sms. is it possible to be done in firebase ?

Hi Zkinleo,

Great question. It took me some time to track this down. Sorry for that.

So the way phone verification works, is that we verify the number before creating the user account. Once a phone number is verified, the UserRecord will contain the phone number as an attribute. You can do this manually in the Admin SDK by creating the user with a pre-verified phone number as explained here.
