Firebase Realtime Db down for more then 14 hours!!

Firebase realtime Db is down since 6AM IST. More then 14 hours now!

This is ridiculous and unprofessional. My Db is the data store  for a medical solution. Thankfully it is not live. But if it was, imagine the chaos. 

Was I wrong going in for newfangled NOSQL Dbs like firebase when tried and tested solutions like MS SQL and MYSQL are available?

Sundar Pichai....are you listening? This is happening under your watch!! NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Hi Dr. Lavanian,

We are currently investigating an issue where Firebase services are unavailable on certain ISPs in India.  As far as we can tell right now this issue is completely on the ISP side and the database is not "down", but we are working with the ISPs to solve it.  If you were using any other hosted database (SQL or otherwise) ISP blocking could still possibly affect you.

In the meantime if you have access to a VPN or another network (maybe a mobile device) you should be able to access Firebase services.

Here we faced same issue, We had three site hosted on firebase, it were stopped working from Monday around 2:30 AM to 3:00 PM. It were creating problem with Airtel Broadband, Vodafone 4G and another one also. While it were working with VPN.

The same problem I also faced, 10 microcontrollers are connected with firebase and suddenly they stopped working due to firebase server down.
