Firebase authentication relationship with Cookies

Hi

I am developing a new webapp and I want to use Firebase's authentication -> firebase.auth.Auth.Persistence.LOCAL

1/ Does this mode internally use any cookie. If yes, then I assume I need to take a consent from User that this cookie would be used. What kind of cookie does it use?

2/ And if User does not provide consent, then what do I need consent for another cookie for this option "firebase.auth.Auth.Persistence.SESSION" or do I use firebase.auth.Auth.Persistence.NONE

In other words my question is about if there is any relationship between Firebase Authentication options and User's consent.
