Not able to setup firebase hosting

Dear All,

I am getting this message on the web page url, after completing the firebase hosting setup.

"You're seeing this because you've successfully setup Firebase Hosting. Now it's time to go build something extraordinary!"

And on the firebase console it is showing "Needs Setup".

I have done a custom domain setup and after checking the redirect option, the firebase console has provided me with two IP addresses. When i click the 'connect domain' option it is showing "We couldn't find the A records we expected for your domain", it found only one of the A records although i have defined both the A records in my DNS management setup.

Please guide.

Hi Subhash,

Going to be hard to guess what's wrong here without the domain name. If you don't want to share that, may want to reach out to support.

One thing you can try right away to confirm if the A name records are correct is to compare the output from dig like so:

katowulf-macbookpro:~ katowulf$ dig +noall +answer katowulf.com

katowulf.com. 1800 IN A 151.101.65.195

katowulf.com. 1800 IN A 151.101.1.195

katowulf-macbookpro:~ katowulf$ dig +noall +answer katowulf.firebaseapp.com

katowulf.firebaseapp.com. 600 IN CNAME s-cert-15.firebaseapp.com.

s-cert-15.firebaseapp.com. 300 IN A 151.101.1.195

s-cert-15.firebaseapp.com. 300 IN A 151.101.65.195
