In firebase (for a static web app) you find:
Standardmäßiger GCP-Ressourcenstandort/ server location
eur3 (europe-west)
So, even the Server should be in Europe, checking it, results in:
"IP Address 199.36.158.100 - 109,994 other sites hosted on this server
IP Location United States - California - Mountain View - Google
ASN United States AS54113 FASTLY, US (registered Oct 04, 2011)"
you can read that it is in the USA?

- is traffic going to USA and if yes, how keep it in the EU
