Hi,

Is it possible to authenticate via firebase for users in China?

In China, Firebase's APIs are blocked by the Firewall of China. But yes, as long as your app meets the China compliance requirements, you can use 3rd party service like 21YunBox's Firewall China Solution to use Firebase Auth for China.
