Dear community!

I need some help & guidance on Firebase
I have two quick questions to check on use of Firebase for mobile app content (in WebView)
  1. Have anyone done ab testing of content within WebView using Firebase?
  2. How does Firebase remember visitors of WebView pages? Does it use a Mobile advertising id? Is it possible to use any other id as a visitor id in Firebase (e.g. CRM id, if testing content within logged in area)?
Please let me know if you share any insights here
Let me know if you have any questions

Hello DD,

Firebase AB testing is only compliant with native apps (e.g.: apps coded in Swoft, Java or Kotlin).

Cause content loaded through webview are webpages, you can use Optimize (Google testing & personalization tool for websites) to run your ab tests.

Thank you Francois, for your response

Do you know how Optimise will identify visitors of WebView pages to retain the stickiness for experience (when running and A/B test)?
My understanding is that the cookies in the WebView will only live for the session duration, so if any visitor visits after some time, how Optimise will ensure the same experience (A or B)
Please let me know if you have any views.
I am unsure if Google Optimise can use any first-party ID (e.g. CRM id) as a visitor identifier. I know other AB testing tools can do that!

Appreciate your help!

Cheers
