Firebase Analytics, trial subscriptions and in_app_purchase event

Hello!

I'm currently working on an app that I'd integrated Firebase Analytics into it a few months ago. Recently after doing the most recent round of work, I had been asked by our client to set up a free trial period for the subscription product they offer inside the app. After doing so, I've noticed that I'm no longer sending any in_app_purchase events -- they just don't register at all! Is it possible that changing the subscription product to have a trial period beforehand might have impacted the in-built in_app_purchase event? I've added a couple of other events that should fire off around the same time as the in_app_purchase one (they get triggered by a callback from Google Play's IAB helper class) and they work just fine.
