Change firebase android google signin authentication provider scope

Hi, 


I have an android app with Firebase Google Login function. 

Is it possible to get the friends list for the people logging with the firebase google login ? 

For the Google Plus web signin, I remember adding user_friends permission to the login scopes, how do i do the same with the firebase google sign in provider ?

You can add any scopes you need - Firebase just takes the underlying Google Sign In credentials after a successful sign in (e.g. for the web see the reference to addScope in https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/web/google-signin). 

The old G+ friends API is deprecated, but you can take a look at the newer People API https://developers.google.com/people/
