Im trying to integrate the new Firebase App Invites into my app. However it is asking me to setup a dynamic link which i am totally new too. I dont have a website or anythign but it is asking for http or https url.
All i want to do is allow users to invite friends, and once an invited friend downloads the app, both users are rewarded with points. Sorry i have no code i can produce as i do not even know where to being. i have read the app invites tutorial and they dynamic links tutorial but none have shed light on my issue for me.

Hi there,

Assuming you're talking about an Android app, check out this quickstart for a very simple example of how to invite friends: https://github.com/firebase/quickstart-android/tree/master/invites (there are also iOS and JS samples).

In your case you don't need to make any special link, but the important thing is that you somehow encode the user ID of the sender into the "deep link URL" as a parameter so that when the invite is opened by the receiving user you can decode the sender ID and award them both points, as you mentioned.
