Hi,

Thanks a lot for your help.  Here is the issue i have .

I am following along with this article: https://www.firebase.com/blog/2014-07-25-ionic-simple-login.html

I am building an app though ionic framework.

When I click the facebook login button, Facebook gives me this error:

Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains.

On Facebook Developers, in my app's basic settings,

Under Basic App Settings: Domain = localhost:8080 URL = http://localhost:8080

Under Advanced App Settings: Valid OAuth redirect URIs [http://localhost:8080/ ; https://auth.firebase.com/v2/<your_app_name>/auth/facebook/callback]

Client OAuth Login and Embedded browser OAuth Login switches in the same section are set to "Yes".

In the Status & Review tab, I have made this app available to the general public.

I am still getting the error. Any idea on what i am doing wrong? Let me know if you need more details

Thanks
-Arun NR

Most likely, you've selected the wrong app type. Looking at the Facebook app instructions, it only lists App > Security > Valid OAuth redirect URIs; it does not tell you to configure anything under basic.

It's possible something has changed at Facebook here, but I just checked my own app and there are no domains entered under Basic.

Additionally, ensure that you have replaced <your_app_name> with the actual Firebase instance name (e.g. https://<instance>.firebaseio.com), as you've shown in your example that you entered it as a literal instead.
