Emergency Alerts System Notifications

Hey guys is it possible to trigger an emergency Alert via firebase? 

Since there is files needed like text and Wave file..

im guessing it would a data notification and we send the files, text..then the app handles it?

is there any example out there?

Hi Michel,

An FCM message is limited to 4Kb so sending media in the message itself is not a good idea. Instead you can consider:

1. [More common] Use a data message to send the Text of the message along with the path to the media file. Download the media file then construct a visible or audible notification.

2. Ship your app with the media file and then when the message is received construct a notification using the already-on-device media file.
