Using Firebase with a web app built using Rust/WASM

WASM web frameworks have been gaining traction and its desirable to be able to access the Firebase client SDK. One of such frameworks is Yew. In order to use easily Firebase from web apps created with it, there needs to be either wasm-bindgen bindings for JS SDK or a new SDK written in Rust, neither of which exist.

What do you would be the best solution here? Create a new library? Create bindings? Should those be officially supported?

Hi Hamza,

There are definitely a few WASM fans on the Firebase team but right now we think it's too young/niche of a platform for us to support it in any official capacity.  That said if you're working on anything in the Firebase+WASM space please share it with the community!  Some ways you can share:
