XCode 7 and swift 2 with firebase sdk

Hi all,

Has anyone migrated to XCode 7 beta release with swift 2 code? How was the process for you and did you have any issues with the latest Firebase ios sdk? When would be a good time to migrate?

also looking for guidance here.   I took the first XCode 7 beta and everything with 3rd party swift-based libraries was a mess due to breaking changes.   However, since Firebase is Objective C, maybe they would fair better.  Anyone given it a try yet?

Hi Nick and Tommy,

We have not tested out the Firebase iOS SDK in XCode 7 with Swift 2 yet, but we have not heard of any issues. If you attempt (or have already attempted) to upgraded and run into issues, please let us know and we will see how we can fix things. Even if you are just able to upgrade successfully, we'd love to hear how it went.

This weekend, I ported a simple app that was using a combination of CoreData and Firebase for persistence.  There were NO Firebase specific changes required to get the app compiling and running under Swift 2.  I had a lot more problems with CoreData.

So.  Good news for those looking to make a switch.
