I want to make a video live stream application. My plan was to implement that using ejabbered server and smack library(using jingle extension) for android clients. But I recently got to know about Firebase. I can not figure out how to do that using Firebase. Can anybody here tell me that is it possible to implement a live stream video application using firebase? If yes, then how can I achieve that? Which libraries, classes and methods/functions would I be using? Any kind of help is highly appreciated.

You could serve data *about* your livestreams in Firebase Database or store the resulting videos with Firebase Storage, but Firebase isn't really optimized for the actual livestreaming aspect right now...  maybe in the future though.

Sorry!
