I created a new firebase app in the new firebase console and enabled email/password authentication but now my ember app throws the error "The specified authentication provider is not enabled for this Firebase." when I try to authenticate from my ember app.  I noticed that emberfire has a depnedency on firebase 2.x but the latest version is 3.x - is that what is causing the problem?  Any idea how to fix?

Hey Emad,

If you created an app from the new console, you can only use the Firebase 3.x.x SDK to authenticate to it. Tim is working on updating EmberFire to the 3.x.x SDK, but for now, you should just create a project on the old console, enable the providers you want, and migrate it to the new console so you can use either the old or new SDK.

Cheers,
Jacob
