FIRE2012: MET - Call for participation-Gentle reminder

Hello,

Stemming and Morphological Analysis have clearly gained prominence in the Indian Language Information Retrieval Research.

With this notion in mind, FIRE 2012 has introduced a new task this year - the "Morpheme Extraction Task (MET)".

The deadline for the tool submission is: 1st September, 2012.

So far only the following the institutes have shown interest in participating in the task:

IIT-Bombay
Anna University
Jadavpur University
IIT-Kharagpur

Hence I gently appeal to all the Information Retrieval Research Scholars to register quickly and participate in this task.
