Greetings of the day !

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 1st Workshop on  Beyond Static Facts: Event-Centric Knowledge Graphs for Explainable AI (EventCentricKB 2026), being organized in conjunction with the 22nd International Conference on Natural Language Processing (ICON 2026).

EventCentricKB 2026 aims to bring together researchers, academicians, research scholars, students, and practitioners working in the areas of  ontologies,  event ontologies, semantic reasoning, multilingual understanding, structured event and provenance modeling, transparent attribution and evidence paths  and allied areas. The workshop will provide a platform for sharing recent research findings, exchanging ideas, discussing emerging challenges, and exploring future directions in the development of Event Centric Knowledge Graphs. We welcome researchers,   students and early-stage research scholars to share their ongoing and completed work, and engage with the broader research community.

The workshop will cover topics including:
