Call for Track Proposals – FIRE 2025 

The Forum for Information Retrieval Evaluation (FIRE 2025) invites proposals for tracks and competitions, to be hosted by IIT (BHU) Varanasi, from December 17-20, 2025.

As a premier venue for research in Information Retrieval (IR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP), FIRE provides a platform for exploring innovative methodologies, benchmarking datasets, and advancing fairness, explainability, and multilingual access in AI-driven systems.

We welcome track / competition proposals on topics including but not limited to:

 Multilingual and Low-Resource NLP
 Bias, Fairness, and Explainability in AI/IR
 Hate Speech and Sarcasm Detection
 Recommender Systems and Personalization
 Generative AI in Healthcare, Law, and Finance
 AI-Generated Content Detection
 AI for Disaster Management and Software Engineering
