We are glad to announce the TriMixGen-Indic track with FIRE 2026.
Track Title: Code-Mixed Text Generation and Identification in Low-Resource Indian Languages
Venue: Forum for Information Retrieval Evaluation (FIRE 2026)
Problem Statement:
The TriMixGen-Indic track focuses on understanding and processing code-mixed Indic languages written in Roman script, specifically language combinations such as Hindi–Bengali–English and Hindi–Gujarati–English. The track addresses both the generative and analytical aspects of multilingual text processing.
In Subtask-A, participants are required to generate fluent and contextually appropriate trilingual code-mixed sentences using combinations such as Hindi–Bengali–English and Hindi–Gujarati–English. Whereas Subtask-B focuses on identifying the language of each word in a generated code-mixed sentence.
