DravidianCodeMix 2026 shared task addresses Hate and Hope speech detection across code-mixed Dravidian languages, with a specific focus on Tamil, Tulu, and Kannada. The track is organized into three complementary subtasks, each targeting distinct linguistic communities and computational challenges in under-resourced language. Together, the subtasks cover a spectrum of social-media harms from gender-targeted hate speech to caste and migration-based discrimination while advancing positive discourse detection as a counterpart to harmful content identification.
