1. Strategy on Social Policy for Equity
and Productivity (Closing Date:
February 20, 2011)
The objective of Strategy is to increase the
equity and productivity impact of the Bank’s work
in the social sector. This will be done by
capitalizing on the Bank’s comparative advantages
and deep sector expertise, and by focusing its
resources in areas of high value-added in a manner
consistent with its institutional goals.

The strategy looks forward to improve the
effectiveness of the Bank in strengthening the

3. Estrategia de Integración Competitiva

The objective of the Draft
Competitive Regional and Global Integration
Strategy is to offer a preliminary proposal
to increase and sharpen the Inter-American
Development Bank’s contribution to the regional
and global integration of the countries of Latin
America and the Caribbean.

4. Private Sector Development Strategy
Profile (Closing date: February 19,
2011)
The Private
Sector Development Strategy profile offers
a preliminary list of priority areas and topics
the Bank believes have a strong potential to
become the organizing principles for the final
Strategy. Among them are: enhancing access to
finance and investment, promoting infrastructure
for competiveness and integration, improving the
environment for private sector investment and
development, enhancing innovation capacity and
building human capital for productivity, and
promoting institutional knowledge for private
sector development.
