Youcan install ScreenRec by simply downloading it for free from this link and following the installation instructions. It takes just a few clicks. ScreenRec launches automatically after it's installed.

You can choose between taking a screenshot, recording a video, adding audio to it (either from your PC or directly from your microphone) and sharing the recording through an automatically created URL.

Yes, because the video platform that ScreenRec is built on, StreamingVideoProvider, offers seamless playback on all devices, including desktop computers, tablets smartphones and even smart TVs. Anyone will be able to watch your screen recordings even on a slow connection.

Screenrec can record your computer screen WITH sound coming from both your microphone and/or your computer audio. Believe it or not, this is a big deal as many other screen recording tools make it look impossible.

When you finish your screen and audio recording, a unique sharing link is automatically created. If this is the first time you are using Screenrec, you will be asked to create a free account. You can paste your unique sharing link in an email, a messaging app, directly on social media, you name it. Pretty cool, huh?

Not only is a sharable link automatically created, but your video screen capture is uploaded directly to the cloud in high quality. Click the gallery icon to view your existing recordings. Hover on a recording to preview it, get a sharing link or delete it.

FonePaw Screen Recorder is not only getting the recording job done, but also providing a nice screen recording experience for all users. The software allows users to freely customize their recordings. Users can adjust the recording area, the size of their webcam, the sound of the system and microphone, and so on. What's even better, there's no watermark in recorded videos.

FonePaw Screen Recorder is very user-friendly. Even though it has many powerful functions, it has a relatively simple interface and we can say it falls under the simple-to-use screen recording software category. You'll find it easy to use whether you're an advanced user or not.

Users can adjust settings beforehand, including recording region, webcam, and the sound of the system and the microphone. You can also schedule your task and the recording length. Click REC to start recording.

Recording audio is far simpler than it is with ShareX. When taking a screen capture, audio can be recorded from either the system speakers or a microphone without requiring any additional installations.

In all fairness, even though it might take you a while to funnel through the abundance of information, once you start recording, it is quite simple. The play/pause/stop functions are easily accessible. You could either use your mouse to highlight a recording area or choose specific menus or regions from the drop-down menu within the panel.

To start the video recording, view the screen options by clicking the sun icon. Be sure everything is configured the way you like. Choose your desired capture region by using the crop tool or choosing a window from the drop-down menu. When you select capture area, click the record icon to begin.

For example, a how-to video (often referred to as a screencast) demonstrating a brand-new product will probably need to be longer and more polished than a simple video showing a colleague how to take screenshots on their computer.

The problem with many built-in screen recorders that come as standard on your computer (and some third-party ones) is that they limit you to just recording. This could leave you needing extra tools and software just to edit and share your videos.

Snagit is great for simple, short desktop recordings, while something like Camtasia might be better for longer, more complex jobs. However, recordings made with Snagit can be easily shared from your captures folder with Camtasia and assembled into longer, more complex videos there.

Step 2: Decide whether to record your webcam, microphone, and/or system audio (each one can be toggled on and off individually, so you can record all or none of them along with your screen)

For example, Camtasia allows you to enhance the video by zooming in on areas of emphasis, changing the size and path of the cursor, and adding text or graphic call-outs. These are just some of the features that make Camtasia great for creating professional videos, such as training videos, product demos, and software marketing content.

Sound is also useful for other screen recordings. For example, keeping the original audio in clips taken from webinars and virtual meetings will provide extra context and insight into the conversations that took place. Even if you were to provide a transcript of the conversation with the video, there are small nuances in speech that can often be missed without sound.

To record your voice, select the microphone from the start menu on Snagit. Select the system audio option when you need to record the sounds that come from your computer, like the beeps and boops you hear.

Bandicam is a free screen recorder for Windows that enables you to capture any area of your screen either as a screenshot or screencast video file. You can record lectures, webinars, games, and Skype calls with the option to add narration from your microphone and video from your webcam, as well as share on YouTube or Vimeo. To record your PC screen, choose the 'Screen Recording' mode in the Bandicam app.

Bandicam is one of the best pedagogical tools in addition to being an advanced screen recorder. I am finding it to be very helpful in this current lock-down situation due to COVID-19. It is one of the best apps available in the market at present. It has a lot of flexibility & customization tools.

The benefits of using a Windows 10 screen recorder with audio are numerous. You can record personal video calls, university lectures and business conferences, and play them back with the original audio. In this guide, we cover 4 different ways to record your screen on Windows 10 with audio.

Movavi Screen Recorder allows you to capture the content displayed on your computer screen, be it a program window, a part of the screen, or your whole screen. With this program, you can easily record your screen and sound, including system audio. Additionally, Movavi Screen Recorder allows you to capture sounds from a microphone or computer separately from your screen recording. You can also draw while recording and show your keystrokes, which is perfect for creating tutorials and other instructional videos.

Click Screen recording on the sidebar and set the area of your screen you want to record. Make sure that Microphone and System sound icons are highlighted to record both video and audio.

The next option for recording is to use a browser extension. With Vidyard, you can easily capture your browser activity and record sound as well. The extension also has a feedback feature that can show when and who is viewing the livestream. It can be very useful for businesses trying to market their products.

Log in or create a new account. Click the Vidyard icon to view recording options. Click the corresponding icons to capture your screen, webcam, or both. If you also want to capture your microphone, make sure that the correct device is selected.

With the addition of voice and audio recording to screen recording, it has never been easier to share your online presence and engage with viewers, with a wide selection of companies offering this service on different platforms. Hopefully, this guide helped you choose the best screen-recording option for your needs.

I had this problem with Quicktime, it does not record screen audio output but only what is picked up by the built-in microphone. So if I put on a YouTube video and use Mac Speakers, the built-in microphone picks it up. If I use Airpods for speaker and microphone, and set audio so system or Airpods, it does not record the video output. I solved this by installing an third party plug-in BlackHole 16ch, which is a hack to allow recording of audio output and not just what the microphone picks up.

I am attempting to record my screen in Storyline with audio. The screen records fine, but no audio is recorded. When I open the screen recorder, the mic shows no activity as if it is not picking up any sound. The strange thing is, the audio recorder in Storyline works just fine and works on the rest of my computer system. It seems to just be the audio recorder within the screen record tool.

I'm happy to help! Is the audio missing even when adding the screen recording to a single slide? If you recorded audio with your screencast, it wouldn't be included with step-by-step slides. However, it'll still be available in the original screen recording if you want to insert it as a video on a single slide.

We are happy to help figure this snag out with you! It sounds like this has only been happening recently, and before you could hear audio from a recorded video. Have you tried recording audio in a new project? If so, does the audio work in a new project?
