2012 Ayers and Carver award nominations

Attached are the announcements for nominations for the 2012 Ayers and Carver awards.  Please distribute these in your firehouse, through your e-mail network, etc. and consider nominating someone you know for either of these prestigious awards!

The FIOANH Board of Directors has extended the nomination period for the 2012 Peter J. Carver Fire Officer of the Year Award and the John T. Ayers Fire Instructor of the Year Award.  Nominations will remain open until Monday, October 15, 2012.  Attached are two documents explaining the nomination process for each award.

These awards are considered to be an extremely prestigious recognition of career achievement; the list of past recipients reads as a "who's who" of the New Hampshire fire service.  Please take the time to reflect on your own fire service career and nominate an individual who has positively impacted or mentored you.

Please help us distribute the attached postings, especially to chief officers or to any larger NH fire-related email groups you may subscribe to.
