Eventhough the Warcraft movie was as exciting as doing taxes, I wish Blizzard would branch out from its games more often than the occasional novel or comic. Thankfully we have people like Star Duke, a YouTuber who made this banging anime TV series-inspired intro for World of Warcraft.

Though I don't know much about JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I like how Star Duke preserves the styling of the original intro but swaps in icons and images that make sense in the context of the Warcraft universe. If you're quick, you'll spot the Heart of Azeroth necklace near the beginning and the Eye of N'Zoth in the background later on. It's an unexpectedly cool mashup that must've taken Star Duke a lot of time to get right.

so the closest thing we will get to a warcraft anime/ animated series is going to be on amazon prime this month

The Legend of Vox Machina staring Laura Bailey the voice of jaina proudmoan

the show is official dungeon and dragons series

Alas what Exandria represents is not the Planes themselves(besides one of the endless Universes of the Prime Material Plane) and thus not as interesting a setting considering that each Plane has multiple infinitely expanding Layers.

As a cosplayer and with so many conventions every year, it becomes difficult for me to go to all them. So whenever an event is happening in my area, I pick and choose based on who the guests are and what cosplay events will take place. I have attended SacAnime in the past and I have never been disappointed. It is held at a great venue, perfect size in my opinion, and usually awesome guests from the anime, television, cartoons, video games, etc.

I made up my mind to attend the show this year because I'm a HUGE World of Warcraft nerd. SacAnime not only had one, but two voice actors from the game so that pretty much sealed the deal for me to attend. Dave Fennoy and Liam O'Brien were guests of SacAnime and they voice two of my favorite characters from the game. Not to mention their other excellent works in video games and anime. Both guests where amazingly nice and didn't rush fans. My interaction with the two actors were friendly and they were really down to earth. The fact that I was able to bring my own item to be signed was amazing and anything else was just $5. No need to pay for photo-ops as we snapped several pictures with the actors. Other guests included Cas Anvar (voice of Altair in Assassin's Creed), Camilla Luddington (voice of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider) and the big stand out star, Mark Sheppard (Crowley in the hit television shows, Supernatural).

The vendors brought on their best on the convention floor. I'm a fan of little novelty items and I did not have any problem finding just what I needed. The usual conventions have more artists than vendors, but I love the fact that SacAnime offered a wide variety of vendors. I love artists and fully support them, but I'm running out of wall space. I love walking down the vendor aisles and seeing all the toys from when I was growing up and brings back a lot of memories. I usually leave a convention with a big bag full of loot and this was certainly the case at SacAnime. There was a sense of balance throughout the 3 day event between artists, collectables, vendors, guests, cosplay, and panels. Each day was full of pure entertainment.

As a cosplayer, I love seeing the creativity of everyone's costumes. I have attended many comic conventions but nothing beats the over-the-top and crazy costumes you will see at an anime convention. The anime cosplay crowd is simple fantastic and they are just fans just like every attendee. But that doesn't mean your cosplay have to be restricted to just anime. SacAnime is a very friendly place to show your fandom no matter what it is. There were a hefty servings of Deadpool, Disney Princesses, and other non-anime characters walking on the convention floor. All attendees and staff are supportive and welcome all types of fandom. This big mix of fans of a variety of genres is a sight to behold. Thank you, SacAnime for bringing this one-of-a-kind experience to us fans. And also thank you for allowing me to find that hard-to-find import item like the classic anime woman fully body pillow. I no longer have any more sleepless nights :)

Valdihr started another project similar to his previous (and amazing) "A Classic Journey", as he's making a Warcraft anime series! He's taking key scenes from the series, seemingly starting with Warcraft 3 with the first 3 "episodes":

Fairy Tail Warcraft Age is an action-thrilled and adventure anime series that focuses on an alternate Fairy Tail verse. It involves 11 Mages and 4 pets traveling around the world of Azeroth for many adventures and dangers to come their way. This will be the first Anime Series to have English Dub voice actors than Japanese ones, as it will collaborate with modern English voice actors. It is also rated M due to Violence, Language, Drug Use, Sex, Nudity and see some female breasts and buttocks.

Although World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth may have ended up being an expansion that some of the community had major problems with, there's no denying that the original cinematics for the content hinted at an epic Horde versus Alliance throw down like the game has never seen. The story focuses on some of the most interesting characters from both factions, but the Horde players ended up getting a lot more screen time as the War Campaign played out.

Now that the story has come and gone, one creative fan has managed to reimagine the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth story in the fashion of an iconic anime opening credits number. The end result is full of some amazing art and brings the energy of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure to Azeroth.

The fan-made anime opening was created by Star Duke and it draws from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind for inspiration. The crossover works incredibly well and the iconic music and animation style breaths some exciting energy and life into the conflict between the Horde and the Alliance as Saurfang, Anduin, Sylvanas, Jaina, and others take the stage.

This is the second fan-made WoW trailer in the last few weeks, the first of which looked back at the Worgen starting zone. Fans are definitely still engaged with the MMO even though the current expansion is nearing the end of its run, so hopefully the game has another burst of popularity when Shadowlands ends up arriving in late 2020.
