If your Android device is not strong enough or stuck with bad chip drivers/throttling while you have shader enhancements on with rewind enabled, that may be the cause of your ineffective fast forwarding,or you possibly changed some settings that prevent it from working properly.
Cores like NES and the fastest equivalent of the SNES cores should definitely be able to hit higher speeds (despite native game lag),mostly even with all of that other stuff enabled too.Maybe you are using a shader at high scale that it can barely handle along with rewind, usually many devices tend to struggle with both enabled in most cases,so try to see how fast you can get it by disabling rewind and taking off any shaders you have enabled if you have some on.If it still refuses to go faster than 5% more, then the problem is related to something else entirely, hope this helps if its causing the issue.
Earthbound has native lag (especially with all 4 party members and a teddy bear) that can make it difficult to fast forward, and using older versions of SNES emulators will more likely cause increased encounter rates due to anti-yarhar measures, lagging the game out more often while making it much more difficult.
I've been trying to set up my newly acquired TV to play videos stored on my Emby server running on a Synology NAS. I installed the Emby for Android TV app on my TV and played several movies (all in 1080p HEVC). It's a weird issue that while all videos played fine (smooth decoding with no lags or latencies) several videos only allowed me to play straight from the beginning where I can neither fast forward nor rewind. If I ever try to fast forward in those videos, the app will start play the movie right from the beginning, regardless of what was the original playing position. For example, I could watch, without experiencing any playback issues if I do not attempt any fast forward, to 0:31:00 of the movie, and if I fast forward then, emby will replay the movie from the beginning.
Since I also have other emby apps on other ends, I tried playing the same movie with such issue on both Emby Web with Chrome, and Emby Theatre for Windows, no such issue was experienced on these two ends. And I can fast forward to any point in the video without any issue.
I have read other posts with a similar issue, and people suggest it was a issue with the file or the encoding of the file. However, in my case, the same file experienced no problem except being played through Emby for Android TV app. I have submitted a log electronically within the app:
OK, so I tried using mkvtoolnix and it worked, the newly-saved file can be played in Emby on Android TV and fast forwarded without any problem. I know that I might be asking too much, but it still seems that the original file could be played on other platform, for example, on Kodi, without any problem + able to fast forward. For certain reasons, I MUST keep the original files. If I was to create new files just to be played on Emby, it will take me for another 2TB on my NAS which is too much.
I've got a similar issue with an episode of a show I'm watching which I can't resume, skip, ff, rwd, jump chapters, etc in ATV. However, if I use Emby Theater for Android on my Shield it works. Use mkvtoolnix to remux and the file works in ATV just fine.
Clicked resume on an episode of Strike which should have resumed at about 20:52, but instead it started at the beginning. Same thing happens if I skip, choose a chapter, etc it just restarts the episode at the beginning.
Not sure if this helps, but I can use VLC as an external player within ATV and the same mkv file will resume, skip, etc correctly. As soon as I go back to using ATV internal exoplayer it just restarts the episode at the beginning again.
This might be a bit overambitious, but I was thinking of creating a simple phone app that runs my image classification model - just as an excercise to try and go through the whole process from training a model to practically using it in an app
ok, after days of struggling, i am getting a bit frustrated. none of the example scripts from the pytorch_lite github are working for me (in flutter, android studio etc). (compatibility issues with outdated versions)
YES!
the app/script seems to be working now! Thank you very much, this is amazing.
dart/flutter might not be that complicated, but i found it faaar too overwhelming to get my head around your script.
silly question:
is the image being transformed before it is being fed to the image classification model?
I know that the image width/height are given (224px in your case), but how does it actually handle the images that come in larger sizes?
i wonder if i need to add an image crop and resize process before feeding the images to the classifier?
i do get much better results when i feed cropped images - but i was assuming the transform would happen inside the classifier anyway?
I wanted to ask if there is a fast way to setup new devices. For example if you have 8 android devices you want to use Syncthing on and all devices have like 20 folders (the path of these folders is the same on all devices) that should be synchronized with a server. Some of these folders should be equal on all devices (sync purpose) while others should only be synchronized between the server and the specific device (backup purpose).
I did some testing a few minutes ago. Chromecast and Android works fine for recorded programs, but live TV is messed up. Hitting the rewind or the fast forward buttons on live tv while casting results in the show repeating from the beginning. That pretty much kills live tv viewing on a Chromecast unless you are willing to just pause and play.
This one is tough to cause on purpose. I have no idea when it happens or why but sometimes (pretty often) my VideoTexture will just speed through the video 10x faster than it should. It happens randomly, sometimes right in the beginning, sometimes it starts after its been playing for a moment. The video file has no sound, and is just video stream.
After the latest update rolled out a few days ago (Android 12) for my Note 10+, Fast charging stopped working. used various power adapters (original from Samsung, and others) which worked perfectly fine before the update, with no avail. Tried restarting the phone several times, switching cables and adapters, turning fast charging on and off in the battery settings, nothing helps. I saw that there is similar comments on the S21 after the latest update, so has to be a common issue?
With high wattage adapter, it does says fast charging, but gives a 3 hours estimate to fully charge a 56% battery, which is absurd, as its not fast charging. with the original OEM adapter (fast charger) it doesn't even says its fast charging. so the issue might be related to software limiting something on the charging process..
Can we have something better than a default answer, please? I have the same problem, right after updating my Galaxy Note 10+ to Android 12, One UI 4.0. Fast charging via cable works, fast wireless charging - doesn't. Charges not-fast way, shows "3hr until charged".
It always worked, it's turned on in settings, the wireless pad and the adapter are original and were shipped with this phone. No pending app updates, even though I don't think this might affect charging. Phone is not hot, when I place it on the charger. Removing the case didn't help either (always worked with the case on).
Hi. Did you sort the issue? I usually don't update the phone straight away, kept it for a month this time also. Updated now and got same issue... Phone doesn't recognise the super fast charger at all, does fast charge with same cable off another charger...
Galaxy Note 10 / 10+: FAST Cable Charging Slow or Not Working? 10 Fixes!! - YouTube
cek this video i try and problem solved, go to device care and go to setting battery turn on and off option fast charge and work
for you all have problem fast chargin after update i got solution in youtube check this video :
Galaxy Note 10 / 10+: FAST Cable Charging Slow or Not Working? 10 Fixes!! - YouTube
you must go to day care setting, and go to batteray setting, turn off and on fast charge. then its work. my device note 10 plus
I have a Note 10 Lite. I installed this system software update to my phone and it keeps restarting continuously when connected to a fast charger. Simply Terrible!! Is anyone else seeing a similar issue?
I start off by connecting my device (Samsung Note 9) to the first dumb AP, and check that it has done full WPA 4-way handshake, and it sent a dhcp-request and got a dhcp-reply (it didn't send dhcp-discover since it was previously connected).
Lastly I go back towards my first dumb AP which again causes a fast transmission and logs show FT authentication already completed - do not start 4-way handshake. At this point, the device suddenly sends dhcp-requests again. The main router receives the dhcp-requests and sends back dhcp-replies via the eithernet interface, however when I look at the tcpdump on first dumb AP, I don't see the dhcp-replies (only dhcp-requests are shown). The device continues to send dhcp-requests (due to it not getting any dhcp-replies) then suddenly decides to disconnect the WiFi.
My current suspicion has to do with VLANs. AP#2 is a Microtik hAP AC2 running 21.02 and the network in question is on VLAN 5. I suspect the VLAN stuff is borked, it has an internal switch and that uses some VLAN stuff too. I'm planning on testing a simplified config without VLAN this evening...
I'm so confused with packets not appearing, like where are they disappearing? I would understand that after FT the device should not send dhcp-request, but could it be that the switch on the dumb APs is dropping them or something? Generally I feel like I'm missing something.
I just tried this setup with the same steps as in my first post, indeed the main router is properly figuring out which ethernet nic to send out the dhcp-replies, so it doesn't seem to be a problem with the main router. My guess is it's probably the ethernet switch on the dumb AP is losing the packet or something. Need to think of a way to sniff the packets between the dumb AP that's losing the packets and the main router. I have looked at this post: Mini tutorial for DSA network config - #64 by erdoukki , I'm not familiar with tc but will try to understand commands and what they do on my dumb AP.
