The Four Questions

1 Who I'm I?
My name is Andrea Chan-Moy. I am twelve years old. I was born
April 13, 1983. I'm nice, generous, and good at sports. I have brown hair
with blond and red highlights and brown eyes that change colors. I am right
handed. I am five feet and four inches tall. Lots of people say I'm
pretty. I have medium length hair. I like to play basketball, soccer, and
football. In basketball my position is point guard. I only play football
for fun. In soccer I play goalie and center fullback. My brother Jamie
plays goalie also. His nickname is the great wall. Lots of people say I
am just like my brother, a great wall. I also like to swim. I can do
lots of back flips and back dives. I don't like getting up early and I
dislike school a lot. The only sport I dislike is tennis. I think tennis
is boring.
I come from a very large family. I have two dads, one mom, five
brothers, and one sister. My dads' names are John Chan and Eddie Moy, my
mom's name is Diane Moy, my brothers' names are Chris, Corey, Jamie,
Teddy, and Ryan, and my sister's name is Kathleen. I have two pets. Their
names are Baboo (A cat), and Shadow (A dog). I am part English, half
Chinese, part Irish, and some others. I have relatives all over the world,
in Taiwan, China, England, and the United States. I have lived in many
places. Right now I live in Bedford Massachusetts, USA. I have lived
in Waltham, West Boxboro, and Colorado. I have lived here for six to
seven years. I go to John Glenn Middle School. I'm in seventh grade.

2. What do I want to be when I grow up?

When I grow up I want to play for the Charollette Hornets in the
NBA. It won't matter that I'm a girl because I'll be a lot better than the
other players. I come from a big family of basketball players. My
step-dad (Eddie) and my brother Corey taught me almost everything I know.
If I can't be a NBA star I will be something as close to playing basketball
as I can. I will probably be involved with something like sports
medicine. Even though I have bad asthma, I won't let it get in the way of
my dreams.

I want to try to have seven to eight kids. I will have a lot of
money and donate money to the community. I think I want so many kids
because my dad came from a big family and I come from a big family. I
love being from a big family. I don't like my brothers but I couldn't live
without them.

3. How would I like the world to be different when I grow up?

When I grow up I want the world to be a better place to live in.
Their should be no homeless people, more peace, and a lot more sense of
humor. I think we should stop polluting. Then we would have cleaner air.
I hope in the future there will be no guns, drugs, and weapons so there
will be less violence and fewer crimes. I want there to be cures for cancer
and AIDS. If the prices went down, then even poor people would be able to
buy enough for their families. I hope in the future everybody, poor or
rich, will have a house. I hope that one day everybody will get along. I
hope that one day we will have a cure for every disease. If all this
happened this world would be a great place to live in. I also hope in the
future there will be less homework and less time in school. I hope all of
this will happen while I am still in school and still young.

4. What can I do now to move the world in that direction?

To move the world in that direction I can do all sorts of things.
I could share my ideas on television, I could donate lots of my old things
that I don't use any more like my old clothes, or I could give food to
charities. For the environment, I could put up signs that say "Don't
litter" or I could help clean up highways. I could start all this by not
littering, especially on beaches, by recycling, and by car pooling. To
stop the violence I could get someone to help me make programs for kids
during or after school. This probably wouldn't fix all the problems but
it's a start. I also could start fundraisers for AIDS and donate money for
kids. I also could get other people to donate money, clothes, or food to
the poor families.
