Bowden Grandview School
Hi! my name is Marlon McGuire. My interests are party's, hockey,
trucks, rodeo, welding and stereo's. I am 14 year's old have brown hair and
green eye's. Last year I played net for the Innisfail Pee wee "A" hockey
team. One of my interests are trucks, Are from the 50's to the 70's
[Chevrolet]. In my truck I would have a Ken wood ten disk changer stereo
with 21" subs called MTX terminators. I live at Innisfail Alberta I have 2
sisters and a mom,I also have 2 cats buddy and tiger and a hamster named
Gizmo. Another one of my hobbies is welding and working on and driving
tractors in the field. I also ride steers but last year I took the year off
but next year I'm going to go back in full force.My favourite thing of all
when I'm on the farm is to chase cows with the truck because riding horses
is not my favourite thing. This is who I am!
This is Marlon McGuire reporting back on what I want to be when I
grow up. When I grow up I want to be a welder, bull rider, bare back rider,
carpenter, farmer/rancher or an NHL goaltender[in my dreams]. So as you can
see I haven't relay decided so I guess I'll see when the time roles around.
The reason I want to be a welder is because I enjoy welding and you make
big money. The bull rider and bare back rider would be ok butt she's pretty
hard to make the dollars.Being a carpenter would be a good job too because
the money's good and it runs in the family. Farming/ranching well it's
something I'd like to do in Saskatchewan, but it's shrilly not for the
money. An NHL goaltender would kick but it's a wild dream. Well one of
these things are ahead in the future but witch one I don't know?
What I would like the world to be like when I grow up ? When I grow
up I would like the world to have strong economic growth so there wouldn't
be so many people with out a job. I would also like to see tougher laws
laid down, So I think that capital punishment should be laid down. The
other thing wrong is that they baby the prisoners to much they should slave
work them so it would teach them a lesson. In the future I would like to
see the animal rights cool down it's starting to become bull. That's how I
would like the world to be like when I grow up.
What I can do to make this happen. I can make petitions and send
them to our palliations or I can become a palliation. I can go in riots,
marches,demonstrations, and I can complain.I can also forum group's. I know
I won't be able to solve all the world's problems but i could put a few
dint's in a couple of them.

I think that skate boarding should be an Olympic sport .
HI I am Matt Spornitz and I am 14 years old. I think that skate boarding
should be an Olympic sport because it is such a competitive sport. I think
image society has is falsely accusing most skaters.For example, most of the
people think that all skaters are drug users and thieves . I will admit
that some are drug users and thieves but most of them just like the sport
of skate boarding . Another part I hate is about cop's attitudes They will
stop more skaters than preps and jocks ,and there is that image again .I
think that society has a bad image about skaters because skaters don't fit
the dress code. They are sometimes more violent and stand up more for what
they believe in and their friends, and that's one thing jocks and preps
will not do as regularly . I am not trying to call jocks or preps down I
know lots of cool preps and jocks .All I am saying is that skaters will
stand up for what they believe in more than preps and jocks will . I also
like to kayak I am just starting it again and I am enjoying it. It can be
a quite a competitive sport, and I think that's why I like it so much.
When I grow up I think I would like to be forest ranger or some
thing to do with wildlife , mountains or the rain forest because I love the
secrets that the mountains and the rain forest can hold and the wildlife in
them. If I had the money I would buy all the rain forest and mountain
regions and keep them preserved for the wildlife that lives there. Because
all the natural vegetation is being destroyed and more animals are going
extinct ,pretty soon there will be no more animals in the wild, just farm
animals and the animals in the zoos.
I would like the world to be how it is now but more like the 60's
and 70'S. Well what I am trying to say is that I would like the world to be
more peaceful and more parties than now and less violence and more "one
with the world" type of people, not too many worries about the world One
thing I would want to change is the drug use in that time
I can not do any thing to make the world this way because it is
just a dream I have. So all I can do about the way I want the world is
dream about it and hope it comes true, try wishing on a star but it
probably will not happen even if it does sooner or later someone will pinch
me and I will wake up and come back into reality.
