What Of Justice?
Perhaps one might better ask what of just us? People of all
faiths, all cultures, all countries, all walks of life, spend much of
their waking hours awaiting justice that never comes. Justice for
them is a legalistic notion played out within the conception of the
minds of the few touting the benefits of the many. Justice is what is
appropriate today, based on yesterday, at the uncertain anticipation
of tomorrow. Justice begins with a bias of thought word and deed
tempered by the many synonyms of truth. Justice is elusive,
egregiously egalitarian, and self enabling. Justice personifies the
imperfect in a most perfect way. It is to often based on whimsy,
wishes, wants, waivers, and wanton. Justice is justice because it is
just us. We have supplanted that which God has ordained with just
us. We have subverted which God has commanded with just us.
There are Gods ways and mans ways. God does not contrive he
knows. God does not propound or hide in the shadows of reasonable
doubt. God knows. Gods agenda is divine not deception. Gods is
motivated for the benefit man. Man is motivated for the benefit of
egotism. God asks questions for the benefit of men. Men ask
questions to support their ignorance of truth. Truth is whatever man
deems it necessary to be within his constructed plans. For men truth
is a convenient vehicle to transport a lie in. Justice is simply the
confused and weary passenger looking out the window from the back seat
wondering why. The vehicle justice sits in is life and what justice
fears most is justice. Perhaps there is no justice, just us. God
abandons the foolishness of men in favor of divine perfection. Is
this just?
If it be just us, how have we fared in the eyes of God? What
grade shall God adorn upon us? Has man established order in his
universe or created more chaos? Does the dawn of each day bring us
closer to God, closer to truth, closer to justice? While we believe
that justice is right in the palm of our hands, it is slipping through
our fingers. What men think justice is, God deems wanting. Man
excuses his injustice by feigning an imperfect system, God offers no
excuses. God does not make mistakes, men mistake God. Justice based
on vanity, is evil wearing a transparent cloak. How long shall man
languish believing themselves to be just? Shall we not exercise great
care and heed trepidation lest we find ourselves alone and just us?
Or is it already too late?
