Were Not Going To Make It
By: ShuutokuTentei 2012

As I peer into my innermost soul, I want to believe that all is
good, and all is right. Yet, when I look around me, all I see is
madness that is not wrought by the divine, nor is it conjugated by
divine antithesis. It is a singular madness, a particular blindness
created by men and men alone, who want more and will stop at nothing
to get it. It is a madness that leads them to believe that what they
do, and how they do it, serves those around them. Men who practice
what they preach in ways abhorrent to all that is human and civil.
Men who wave a banner of truce while plotting their next war. Men who
hate, repress, and intimidate because it is easier to do so. Men who
reject truth, civility, and love because to seek good takes effort.
Men who will kill you with legislation as easily, and as quickly, as
they will kill you with a bullet. Men who seek to over power you
physically, mentally, and spiritually, yet have no power over
themselves. Men who claim sanctuary in the Holy words they choose are
Holy. Men who take, while offering you a gift. Men who steal from
you like thieves in the night, leaving you naked and barren. Men who
have a conscious of convenience, or a remissive conscious for price.
Men who do evil upon you simply because they can. Was yesterday truly
better than today? Will we really have a better tomorrow? There will
always be men who seek to serve themselves. Shall we leave it up to
these such men whether we make it or not? When we reject such
individually, we reject them collectively and that makes all the
difference. Be careful whose hands you allow to cradle the world.
Choose wisely!
