While google is paying for it, I thought I would experiment and see what gains might be had from buying more cores, or operating on pay-as-you go with slightly higher bills so it would be possible to spool up more CPUs occasionally.

Turns out it does work very well with more cores, I was super pleased with it as well.  It might do well on a GPU too.
