Sensex rides high.
Tracking strong global markets, the benchmark index gained 339 points to close at 15,466. Major stock markets in Asia and Europe shot up on Wednesday as strengthening commodity prices boosted resource producers.
During the session, the Sensex traded between 15,580 and 15,168. On the NSE, the Nifty advanced 104 points to finish at 4,655. However, the gains among the smallcaps and midcaps were muted as compared to the largecaps.
