We are looking at hiring Analyst/Sr. Analyst for Credit Strategy role with our Research team in Mumbai Office. Below is the detailed Job Description for the same.
Experience: 2 to 4 yrs.
Position Description: Credit Strategy
The Credit Strategy team provides market leading coverage on global credit markets. The research associate will work with strategists in London, NY and Hong Kong to help analyze market trends at both the macro and company level, implement quantitative models for portfolio analysis, and identify investment strategies. Additionally, the associate will work with the team on the credit derivatives effort, where topics and analytics will include the cash/CDS basis relationship, credit derivative indices, and complex products such as corporate index-tranches and credit index options. Much of the analysis will be used in written published research. .
Education Qualifications: Btech / Mtech/MBA/CA with 2-4 years of experience
Skills Required:
Computational Skills:
o Excel/Excel VBA
o Access
o Programming experience (C++ or Perl) desirable, but not necessary
Other
o Must be thorough and extremely detail oriented, with a low tolerance for error.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines required.
o Must be independent enough to look for solutions to problems, but keep detailed records of what assumptions and steps were taken, and be able to communicate the logic in a clear and concise manner.
o Must have strong interest in financial markets
o Strong team player.
o Must be flexible about work hours.
Skills Desired:
o Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
o Basic knowledge of derivative products, option pricing, portfolio management and numerical methods
o Aptitude for applying mathematical modeling to financial products/markets
