About Alexis Centre For Public Policy And International Relations (http://www.acppir.in/):
Alexis Centre for Public Policy and International Relations is a Centre for Excellence of Alexis Foundation. The Centre carries out consultation on various bills and legislations of Indian government and United Nations organizations. It also conducts awareness programmes on various social, environmental and economic issues, various policies of Central Government, State Governments and International bodies, etc.
The Centre has its own Publications on Public Policy and International Relations. It provides information on all International Statutes and documents related to Public Policy and International Relations. Various events are organized on these topics to gather the new ideas.
Our endeavour is to serve the society through promotion the Public Policy Debate among the Public by way of Seminars, Lectures, Door to Door Campaigns, Competitions with the help of inquisitive researchers, and above all, socially responsible citizens, who shall be whole-heartedly and continuously engaged in the process of nation building.
About the Internship:
Internship slots open for November-December, 2013. This is a voluntary position, and we promise to make it a great learning experience. The interns have to research on any one of the topics of their choice from the following 5 topics:
Formation of Telangana: A Vindication of the Need for a Separate State?
Sino-India Relations: The South China Sea Dilemma
Education of Women in Rural India: A Study in Regression?
Techno-diplomacy as a Pathway for India’s Global Ambitions
Food Security Bill: A Harbinger of Further Inequality or An Instrument of Integration?
Best 2 interns from each category will be selected to join us as Research Associates for Two Months!

Who can apply:
Open to all Indian Students pursuing Undergraduate/Postgraduate Courses in any UGC Recognized University or College.
