Dear Amol,
Many thanks for extending the invitation to Wendy to speak at Project
RISHI's symposium on April 13th. She very much appreciates the
opportunity to engage on such important issues. Unfortunately, Wendy is
not able to accept as she will be travling internationally at that time.
However, you did request having Wendy possibly speak on an alternative
date should the 13th not work with her schedule, and I would be happy to
explore those options with you further. Do you have a timeframe that you
are looking at over the coming months? Are there any other confirmed
events? Please note that Wendy's calendar is still being developed. I
look forward to hearing from you.
All the best,
Katie

Subject: Wendy Kopp Speaker Request
Hello,
My name is Amol Lingnurkar and I am contacting you on behalf of Project
Rishi, a developmental organization on the UC Berkeley campus. We are
organizing a symposium on April 13th from 7-9pm centered on social
entrepreneurship and are interested in having Teach for America co-founder
and CEO Wendy Kopp be our key-note speaker. What are the next steps that
we need to take? I have also attached a more formal invitation letter
below. We appreciate your time and help.
Thank You,
Amol

Hi Amol,
Thank you very much for getting back to me. I have a few more questions
regarding your event. Can you let me know where the event will be taking
place and at what time of day you were hoping Wendy would speak and for
how long; is this an evening event? How many people do you expect to be
attending the event and who are the attendees invited (students, faculty
etc.)? Additionally, is this the first symposium that Project RISHI has
hosted?
Many thanks,
Katie

Thank you very much for your prompt response. We would love to have Wendy
Kopp as our key note speaker and are willing to schedule the event around
her availability. We are open to holding the event any time between April
12th-April 30th. Do these dates work with her schedule? We really
appreciate your help.
Thank You,
Amol
